Issue Four
Welcome to 'The Hub' the newsletter from twentysix London Corporate team!
Spring is always a busy season for agencies as many companies release their marketing budgets early in the year and hit the digital channel purposely for a 'spring clean' and refresh of their online presence. This has meant we have received a number of 'Requests for Proposals' (RFPs) in the past few months of differing quality and detail.
How an IR professional should write a Request for Proposal for their website rebuild
If you want to build a house you wouldn’t get very far if you handed the potential contractor a tender document that said:
it’s for me and the wife
we need a few rooms
we need it asap
built really well
we are not sure of the budget yet, what do you reckon?

What you should receive back from agencies
So we have written the RFP. The next step is to work out who to send it to. There are already some agencies that you will have heard about, but be careful here.
The online corporate communication market is changing rapidly from tool based solution providers (some of the best known names!) to agencies that can provide a wider base of expertise and consultancy support. You only have to look at IR Web Report articles for an independent view on this changing market and the failings of ‘cookie cutter’ websites!
